I don't think it is really a very good idea to use same meta descriptions for other similar sites. Google will pretend that all sites have used same content and that may harm website ranking.

You should not use same meta description for different pages of your website because if you use same meta description, you content will come in duplicate content and it is a black hat seo technique. Search engines don't allow to use it. If you caught to use it, your website may be ban or penalize.
