How to use Facebook to gain more traffic?

I have tried numerous time to get traffic from Facebook. I even have a Facebook page, and try to attract people to like my page. But it doesn't help. I have no traffic from Facebook.

How do you get targeted traffic from Facebook? Please share!

Your Facebook page should be an extension of your actual website or blog. Believe it or not, a company which I don't recall their name did a survey recently and found that having many users on your FB fan page does not cross over into those users going to your site.
